I absolutely agree!!! I’ve always thought about that, while It’s nice to see your portfolio grow over time, it’s not as useful as a tracker that only counts gains/losses with deposits/withdrawals exempt from the tracker. A Good example would be the way Robinhood tracks your portfolio.
